1. Outlying Islands: Composed of islands of varying sizes to the south and southwest of Hong Kong. Including Lantau Island, Chek Lap Kok, Lamma Island, Po Toi Island, Cheung Chau, Peng Chau, Tung Chung, and Discovery Bay.
Some areas, such as Tung Chung New Town, have been developed, but other rural areas on Lantau Island and islands still retain a suburban character.
2. New Territories Sai Kung District: Sai Kung Town Centre Tuen Mun District: So Kwun Wat, Tuen Mun Rural Area Yuen Long District: Shap Shek Heung Central, Ping Shan South/Central, Tin Yiu, Yuen Long Centre, etc.

North District: Queen's Hill, Sheung Shui Rural Area, etc.
